The National Association of Health Underwriters has given its Harold R. Gordon Award to Robert Tretter.[@@]
NAHU, Arlington, Va., says the award is its "person of the year" award.
Tretter, the group benefits manager at Thomas McGee L.C., Kansas City, Mo., served as president of NAHU from 1998 to 1999. Over the years, he has instigated many innovative, positive changes in the health insurance industry, according to Alan Katz, chairman of the Gordon Award committee.
