MetLife Inc. has introduced a family of dental plans aimed at employers with 10 to 500 employees and tight benefits budgets.[@@]

The new MetLife Voluntary Dental Benefit Plans are designed so that employers can make plan participants responsible for paying some or all of the premiums, according to MetLife, New York.

The plans offer insured coverage, access to a network of 80,000 in-network dentists, and discounts of 10% to 35% on services from in-network dentists, MetLife says.

Employers that sign up for the program can use Web-based systems to administer the plans and help plan members keep track of claims.
