Baccigalupi Takes Over At GAMA

Robert Baccigalupi has succeeded James Krueger as president of GAMA International.[@@]

Baccigalupi has assumed the post at the Falls Church, Va., group because of the early passing of Krueger. Krueger died of pancreatic cancer in May.

Baccigalupi has worked in the insurance industry for 42 years and has belonged to GAMA for 35 years, according to GAMA. He has held management positions at Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J., and at MetLife Inc., New York.

Baccigalupi has qualified for GAMA's International Management Award 24 times and served as president of 3 local life underwriters and GAMA groups in the New York area.

Over the years, Baccigalupi also has served as the chairman of each of GAMA's volunteer committees.
