The Newport Beach, Calif., life insurer says Brown, chair of the National Association for Variable Annuities, Reston, Va., will be responsible for financial reporting, product development and compliance at its life insurance division.
Brown has been a senior vice president at New York Life Insurance Company, New York, and at MetLife Inc., New York. She has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Emory University and a master's degree in actuarial science from Georgia State University.
