A Wayland, Mass., public relations firm is selling a program aimed at financial advisors who want media attention.[@@]

The firm, Stimpson Communications, will pitch a series of "personal finance story ideas" to personal finance and investment writers and editors. Each pitch will list a program subscriber as a source of expert commentary on the topic, Stimpson says.

Henry Stimpson, the owner of the firm, is a former freelance personal-finance journalist who once worked in media relations in the Boston office of Commercial Union Insurance Companies.

Stimpson has a bachelor's degree from Boston University and a master's degree from Simmons College. He holds the Accredited in Public Relations professional designation.
