A large New York insurance broker has announced a change to its board.[@@]
The broker, Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc., has named Robert Erburu non-executive chairman of the board.

Erburu has been lead director since October 2004 and a member of the board since 1996. Before Erburu retired in 1996, he was chairman of The Times Mirror Company, Los Angeles.
The previous chairman of Marsh, Jeffrey Greenberg, resigned in October 2004 after Marsh came under regulatory scrutiny.
