Cendant Marketing Group, Norwalk, Conn., says it is testing 2 products backed by Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, and 4 other product concepts.[@@]

The products include comprehensive accident insurance backed by Hartford; an accidental death and dismemberment package backed by Hartford that includes special services, such as tax assistance and legal referrals, for breadwinners; a lump-sum hospital accident protection policy; a HealthSaver health discount program; a policy designed to protect consumers against total and permanent disability; and a package of travel discounts and trip-protection benefits.

CORRECTION: The original version of this article incorrectly described the relationship between Cendant and Hartford. Hartford is backing just 2 of the 6 products involved in the testing campaign.
