A Windsor, Conn., company has developed a Web-based support system for agents and brokers who sell employee benefits.[@@]

The company, Vertafore Inc., is introducing the Benefits Workflow system, a Web-based application that can help benefits brokers and agents with selling plans, generating proposals, setting up plans, managing policies and renewing policies.

One feature of the system helps producers track different stages of the sales process, Vertafore says.

Vertafore will be charging about $50 to $99 per month for access to the system. The exact price will depend on the agency's size, a company representative says.
