A Newark, N.J., insurer is supporting an effort to help a group of military families in New York.[@@]
The insurer, Prudential Financial Inc., will be the title sponsor of a St. Patrick's Day week fund-raising drive for the families of soldiers serving in the 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment of the New York Army National Guard.
The Ancient Order of Hibernians, New York, is sponsoring the drive, which will raise money to support programs and services for more than 700 families associated with the regiment.
The fund-raising week will start with a benefit at 6 p.m. March 10 in New York.
