The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers, Washington, has agreed to work with BenefitPoint Inc., San Francisco, to develop benefits data standards.[@@]
The CIAB also has agreed to endorse the Aptus system, a BenefitPoint benefits distribution and customer relationship management system, BenefitPoint says.
The Aptus system links a group of about 425 carriers to a network of more than 400 benefits brokerage and consulting offices, BenefitPoint says.
