College Offers Wealth Management Studies

The College for Financial Planning has established a new course leading to a wealth management designation for financial advisors.[@@]

The course is designed for advisors and planners who have high net worth clients or who seek to build their business with such clients, says John Sears, president of CFP, in Greenwood Village, Colo.

The course will cover such subjects as asset management, allocation and selection; investment performance and strategies; taxation of investment products; investing for retirement, insurance; estate planning; and asset protection.
