Fauchier Partners Appoints Directors

LONDON (HedgeWorld.com)–Clark Fenton and David Woodhouse have been appointed directors at Fauchier Partners Ltd.

Both executives represent the next generation of management at the firm, said Patrick Fauchier, chief executive and one of the firm's founders, in a statement. They join a board of eight directors that includes Mr. Fauchier.

Mr. Fenton joined Fauchier in July 2003 as a senior analyst and head of risk. Previously he worked at Morgan Stanley, where he managed the firm's exposure to hedge funds as a vice president in the equity derivatives and prime brokerage areas.

Mr. Woodhouse has been the chief financial officer at Fauchier since July 2001. Before joining the firm, he was a senior audit manager in the investment management group at Ernst & Young International.

Fauchier Partners has US$2.3 billion in assets under management or advice. The firm specializes in building customized hedge fund portfolios. Clients of Fauchier include institutional investors, major European corporations, charities, academic institutions and family groups. The hedge fund group also advises a number of listed funds of funds, according to officials.
