PHILADELPHIA (HedgeWorld.com)–Gregor Rominger joined online trading and risk management technology provider Aspen Hedge as head of data services, a new position.

Mr. Rominger previously worked in the Zurich office of UBS AG, where he was head of treasury derivatives back-office operations. There he developed and oversaw the processing and settlement of foreign exchange options and interest rate derivatives trades.

At Aspen Hedge, Mr. Rominger will oversee a team that assists the firm's hedge fund clients with their middle- and back-office functions. Aspen Hedge provides via the Internet access to trading and risk management tools including analytics and reporting that generate data that can be shared directly with prime brokers.

Aspen Hedge clients include Henderson Global Investors Ltd., London; Greenwich Capital Management, East Greenwich, R.I.; and Luminary Capital Management, New York.

In a statement, Mr. Rominger said Aspen Hedge had a reputation for consistency and dedication in developing technology for its clients. "With this structure, we will allow our clients to concentrate on their business and reduce their operational risk by minimizing errors caused by manual user interaction," Mr. Rominger said.
