The service manages leaves involving the Family and Medical Leave Act and other federal and state leaves for large and midsize employers. UnumProvident takes initial leave requests, verifies eligibility, manages the leaves and reports on the leaves, the company says.
The service now manages leaves for more than 300,000 U.S. employees.
