Chung At The Helm; A Milestone For MDRT
Sept. 1 will mark a milestone in the Million Dollar Round Table's storied 77-year history: The organization will hand over leadership to a woman for the first time.
Adelia Chung, MDRT's first vice president and a native of Honolulu, Hawaii, will become president after 22 years as a MDRT member. During that time, she has secured 12 Court of the Table and 6 Top of the Table honors.
"Adelia is someone who has a lot of heart and much insight into this business," says MDRT President George Pickett. "She's extremely capable."
Chung herself credits the MDRT with helping her to grow "personally and professionally" in the field. And she takes a modest view of her new leadership role.
