NU Online News Service, June 14, 2004, 1:43 p.m. EDT – Nonprofit education groups have formed a program to support practical research on current insurance industry issues.[@@]
The organizers are the Geneva Association of Switzerland, Geneva, and the International Insurance Society Inc., New York.
The program, which is backed by American International Group Inc., New York, and other insurers, will offer annual awards of up to $10,000 for outstanding insurance research papers. The winning research will be presented at the annual seminar of the International Insurance Society, which meets in Hong Kong in 2005. Research also will be printed in a Geneva Association journal.
