Craig Callen, the company's new senior vice president of strategic planning and business development, previously was head of U.S. health care investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston L.L.C., New York.
"Callen will be responsible for new business investment strategy as well as strategic planning," Aetna says.
Callen has a bachelor's degree from Boston University and a master's degree in business from Harvard University.
