MetLife Promotes Consumer Education Brochures

NU Online News Service, Jan. 26, 2004, 12:34 p.m. EST – MetLife Inc., New York, has put out a press release to promote 2 of its consumer education brochures. [@@]

The company is telling consumers about the "Investing for the First Time" and "Helping Your Child Understand Money" brochures in its LifeAdvice program.

The investing brochure is a primer on investment styles, types of investments and retirement investment vehicles. The brochure also discusses the concept of accepting more risk in an effort to obtain higher returns.

The children's money brochure deals with topics such as savings and interest, budgets, allowances and investments.
