NU Online News Service, Jan. 7, 2004, 5:32 p.m. EST – Aetna Inc., Hartford, is offering a new "Pick-A-Plan" health coverage program in California.[@@]
Employers with 4 to 50 employees can use the program to give employees a choice of up to 14 different plans.
The plan designs available through the program include health maintenance organization plans, exclusive provider organization plans and preferred provider organization plans.
Employers with 2 or 3 employees can use the program, too, but they must buy coverage with a single plan design.
