AdvisorCentral Site Adds Fund Transaction Capabilities

NU Online News Service, Oct. 21, 2003, 12:15 p.m. EDT – AdvisorCentral L.L.C., Westborough, Mass., has added transaction capabilities to its financial advisor Web site, at http://www.advisorcentral.com

Advisors now can use the AdvisorCentral site to buy, exchange and sell mutual funds from several large fund companies.

AdvisorCentral is a joint venture founded by Fidelity Investments, Boston; Putnam Investments, Boston; Franklin Templeton Investments, San Mateo, Calif.; and PFPC Inc., a unit of The PNC Financial Services Group Inc., Pittsburgh.

AdvisorCentral has based its new site services on the Fund/SPEED technology from National Securities Clearing Corp., New York.
