NU Online News Service, Oct. 7, 2003, 2:43 p.m. EST – SCOR S.A., Paris, says it is moving ahead with plans to spin off its life reinsurance business as a separate subsidiary.
Several companies are likely to submit final proposals for the life reinsurance business by the end of October, SCOR says.
SCOR also says it will "continue to pursue actively the avenues and provide itself with the means that will allow it to strengthen its solvency" to be prepared for year-end renewals.
