NU Online News Service, Sept. 22, 2003, 5:14 p.m. EDT – Manulife USA, Boston, has posted an Estate Tax Calculator on its 529 college savings plan Web site, at http://www.manulifecollegesavings.com
The calculator helps financial consultants show clients how contributing to 529 plans can lower estate taxes.
Manulife also is offering consultants mailers, prospecting cards and other tools to help them sell 529 plans.
Manulife distributes a 529 plan sponsored by the Education Trust of Alaska.
