Allstate Financial Hires Asset-Liability Management VP

NU Online News Service, Sept. 10, 2003, 6:15 p.m. EDT – The Allstate Financial unit of The Allstate Corp., Northbrook, Ill., has hired Anson Glacy Jr. to be vice president of asset-liability management.

Glacy previously was a vice president and actuary at GeneralCologne Re Capital. He also was a senior consulting actuary at Ernst & Young L.L.P., New York, for seven years.

Glacy has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Seton Hall University, and he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
