NU Online News Service, Aug. 25, 2003, 3:34 p.m. EDT – Word & Brown, Orange, Calif., has set up a Web-based benefits administration system for its CaliforniaChoice benefits purchasing program.
The CaliforniaChoice program is a for-profit benefits purchasing group for small employers.
One section of the program's Web site provides quote services, administrative tools and marketing tools for brokers.
A second section provides administrative support tools for employers. Employers can use the employer section to update enrollment records, download forms, schedule open-enrollment support meetings and take advantage of special CaliforniaChoice discounts, such as discounts on Web-based purchases from Office Depot, Word & Brown says.
