Harold Chandler, the former chairman of UnumProvident Corp., Chattanooga, Tenn., has joined with two other executives to form Benefit Partners of America L.L.C., Nashville, Tenn., a company that will design benefit plans and handle enrollment and support services.
Benefit Partners will sell executive benefits and employer-paid benefits as well as employee-paid benefits, the company says.
Chandler will be chairman and chief executive of the new company.
