NU Online News Service, May 27, 2003, 10:34 a.m. EDT – Interlinx L.L.C., Canton, Mich., has introduced the BudgetLife Expert Quoting System, a software tool that can improve a life insurance agent's Web-based quote service.
The software builds life insurance company underwriting rules into the quotation process, Interlinx says.
A Web site equipped with the software starts by using a consumer's age and sex to search a 150-company term life database. The site then asks for more information and uses the answers to find out which rates are actually available to the consumer.
