NU Online News Service, May 13, 2003, 11:35 a.m. EDT – Conseco Inc., Carmel, Ind., says it has received permission from the bankruptcy court in Chicago to extend the voting deadline on its reorganization plan to May 21, from Wednesday.
Conseco says it sought the extension after "various creditor constituencies" requested more time for voting.
