Keane To Run Vermont Blue Computers

NU Online News Service, May 6, 2003, 12:24 p.m. EDT – Keane Inc., Boston, has won a seven-year, $35 million contract to run computers, telephones and data networks for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, Montpelier, Vt.

Keane will run Vermont Blue's systems from Vermont Blue's own offices, and it will hire 53 employees who now work for Vermont Blue, Keane says.

Keane has been working with Vermont Blue since 2001, when it began an effort to help Vermont Blue improve its databases.
