NU Online News Service, April 25, 2003, 10:14 a.m. EDT – The Reinsurance Group of America Inc., St. Louis, is reporting $33 million in net income for the first quarter on $654 million in revenue, up from $28 million in net income on $560 million in revenue for the first quarter of 2002.
U.S. net premiums increased only 6%, to $370 million, but international net premiums increased 72%, to $126 million, RGA says.
