BISYS Hires First Data Veteran

NU Online News Service, April 14, 2003, 12:35 p.m. EDT – The BISYS Group Inc., New York, has hired James Fox to be president of its BISYS Fund Services unit.

The unit provides support services for companies that sell mutual funds, variable annuities and separately managed accounts.

Fox succeeds Bill Tomko, who has been serving as president of both the fund services and the investment services units. Tomko will continue to be president of the investment services unit, and Fox will report to Tomko, BISYS says.

Fox previously was president of govONE Solutions, a unit of First Data Corp., Denver.

Fox has a bachelor's degree in economics from the State University of New York and a master's degree in business from Suffolk University.
