ING U.S. Unit Hires Investment Chief

NU Online News Service, April 2, 2003, 3:57 p.m. EST – ING Investment Management America, Atlanta, has hired Frederic Nelson to be vice chairman and chief investment officer.

Nelson, who will be based in New York, previously was head of the U.S. equity group at JP Morgan Investment Management Inc., a unit of J.P. Morgan Chase & Company, New York.

Nelson has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree in business from the University of Chicago.

ING Investment is a unit of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam.
