Porter is an executive at SouthTrust Corp., Birmingham, Ala.
The new BISA vice presidents are Bill Abdale, Maryann Bruce, Rob Comfort, and Rick McCann.
Alan Leach will be the secretary; John Lewis, the treasurer; and John Hartigan, the general counsel.
