NU Online News Service, Feb. 24, 11:52 a.m. – St. John's University will be opening an Insurance Hall of Fame Gallery at its New York risk-management school in July.

The gallery will give biographical information about each of the 106 Insurance Hall of Fame members and show reproductions of the laureate portraits on display in Tuscaloosa, Ala., at the Insurance Hall of Fame.

The St. John's risk-management school, previously known as The College of Insurance, is developing the new gallery with the International Insurance Society, New York.

Joseph Smetana, a College of Insurance alumnus and retired insurance company executive, is financing the new gallery.
