NU Online News Service, Jan. 23, 2:39 p.m. – UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., is reporting $379 million in net income for the fourth quarter of 2002 on $6.7 billion in revenue, up from $247 million in net income on $6 billion in revenue for the fourth quarter of 2001.

The UnitedHealthCare unit, which sells major medical coverage, is reporting $384 million in operating income for the quarter on $4.6 billion in revenue, up from $248 million on $ 4.1 billion in revenue.
