Bank Broker Productivity Falls

NU Online News Service, Jan. 14, 1:05 p.m. – The productivity of brokers in banks fell in November 2002, the Bank Insurance & Securities Association in Wayne, Pa., reports.

Productivity fell to $22,601, from $24,378 in October 2002 and $26,508 in November 2001.

Productivity of licensed bankers fell to $1,437, from $1,684 in October 2002 and $2,602 in November 2001.

Meanwhile, BISA's index of bank broker-dealer revenue fell to 101, down from 110 in October, putting it close to the baseline of 100 BISA set in 1998. In November 2001, the index stood at 131.
