AMS Acquires Texas Company

NU Online News Service, Dec. 2, 9:09 a.m. – AMS Services Inc., Windsor, Conn., a company that develops insurance distribution software, says it has acquired IRS-AIMS, Universal City, Texas, a company that sells insurance rating and management systems.

IRS-AIMS will operate as a separate business unit of AMS, and Gary Boyd, president of IRS-AIMS, will join AMS, AMS says.

AMS reports that it will now sell the IRS-AIMS Windows rating software to AMS rating customers in Texas.
