Bank Broker Productivity Fell In September

NU Online News Service, Nov. 12, 3:53 p.m. – The productivity of brokers in banks fell sharply in September, according to the Bank Securities Association, Wayne, Pa.

Data compiled for the BSA by Kenneth Kehrer Associates, Princeton, N.J., shows that bank rep sales production dropped to $24,026 in September, from $29,416 in August.

The productivity of licensed bankers also dropped during the month, to $1,699, from $1,934 in August.

The index of bank broker-dealer revenue, based on a baseline of 100 set in 1998, fell to 109 in September, from 118 the month before, the BSA reports.
