August Bank Broker Production Up: BSA

NU Online News Service, Oct. 16, 2:35 p.m. – Brokers in banks increased their productivity during August to $29,416, from $27,722 in July, reports the Bank Securities Association, Wayne, Pa.

The July figure was upwardly revised from BSA's initial estimate last month of $23,358.

Also in August, productivity of licensed bankers dropped to $1,934 from $2,582 in July. The July figure was also revised upward, from an initial estimate of $1,968.

BSA's index of bank B/D revenue fell to 118, from July's 128. The index is based on a benchmark of 100 that BSA established in 1998.
