NU Online News Service, Oct. 1, 9:58 p.m. – Fortis Family, Atlanta, a company that sells pre-need funeral insurance, has renewed a contract for third-party administration services from Liberty Insurance Services Corp., Greenville, S.C.
The three-year renewal will extend the relationship to April 2006, Liberty says.
Liberty provides day-to-day management and back-office administration services for Fortis's block of more than 1.2 million policies. Liberty's services include new policy issue, claims adjudication, billing and collections, distribution system support, and financial accounting support.
Fortis Family is a unit of Fortis, Brussels.
