Andrew J. Dudley, CFA, is a vice president and portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments, part of Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC. He has managed Fidelity Advisor Intermediate Bond Fund since December 1999. Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Dudley worked for Putnam Investments from 1991 to 1996. He began as a quantitative analyst in the taxable investment-grade bond group and moved up to portfolio manager. Born in 1964, Mr. Dudley received a BA in economics, cum laude, from Yale University in 1987 and an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1991. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Fixed Income Management Society of Boston.
