Fifty-One Percent Of Takers Pass July CFP Exam

NU Online News Service, Sept. 26, 12:15 p.m. – The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., Denver, says only 947, or 51%, of the 1,869 CFP candidates who sat for the July CFP certification exam passed.

The CFP board administered the 10-hour, two-day exam at 50 sites around the United States.

The CFP board estimates 73% of the candidates who take the CFP exam eventually pass. The board has scheduled the next round of exams for Nov. 15-16.
