NU Online News Service, Sept. 24, 4:16 p.m. – Jefferson Pilot Financial, Greensboro, N.C., a unit of Jefferson-Pilot Corp., has introduced the Gold 7 single-premium, deferred fixed annuity.
The Gold 7 annuity, which is part of the Pilot Gold series of annuities, guarantees a fixed rate of return for seven years.
Gold 7 now carries a first-year interest rate of 6.60% for the standard death benefit. The interest rate includes a 2% first-year interest rate bonus. In policy years two through seven, the guaranteed interest rate would be 4.60%.
The minimum premium is $10,000.
