Digital To Handle Microgroups For More Brokers

NU Online News Service, Sept. 24, 12:19 p.m. – Digital Insurance Inc., Atlanta, has signed agreements with five employee benefits brokers to handle day-to-day servicing and sales for a portion of their small group benefits business.

The brokers are the New York office of Acordia Inc.; Brown & Brown Inc., Naples, Fla.; Lockton Companies of Colorado Inc., Denver; J. Rolfe Davis Insurance Agency Inc., Orlando, Fla.; and CCA Consulting Inc., Reston, Va.

Digital Insurance helps brokers handle employers with fewer than 25 employees with a Web-based administration system, a call center and a special account management team.

Digital Insurance reports it has signed small-group assistance agreements with 24 benefits brokerage firms in the past 12 months.
