NU Online News Service, Sept. 17, 12:09 p.m. – Workers seem to have less enthusiasm about sticking with their employers, according to a new report from Aon Corp., Chicago.
When the company's Loyalty Institute surveyed 1,700 U.S. workers in April, it found that its Aon Workforce Commitment Index had fallen to 98.1, from 101.1 in October 2001.
Aon set the index at 100 when it developed the measure in 1997. The index is based on workers' responses to questions about topics such as productivity, pride in their employers, and interest in staying with their employers.
