Ameritrade To Upgrade Broker-Dealer System

NU Online News Service, May 15, 10:16 a.m. –Ameritrade Holding Corp., Omaha, Neb., says it will introduce a new trading system for its institutional clients at the end of May.

The system, Ameritrade Connection, will allow independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisors to manage multiple accounts, open accounts, and offer different types of information and services to different types of clients.

The system will also provide customized stock quotes, handle block trades, and allow market open and on-close orders, Ameritrade says.
