NU Online News Service, April 29, 12:57 p.m. – HealthExtras Inc., Rockville, Md., has won a five-year contract to provide pharmacy benefit management services for Adminitron Inc., Brentwood, Tenn., a third-party administrator.
Adminitron runs self-funded employee benefit plans covering about 50,000 people.
HealthExtras will manage Adminitron's retail pharmacy network, supervise its list of approved drugs, and track its expenditures. The company will also advise Adminitron on matters such as compliance and mail-order prescription fulfillment services.
