NU Online News Service, April 25, 11:38 a.m. – Protective Life Corp., Birmingham, Ala., is reporting $42 million in net income for the first quarter, up from $38 million in net income for the first quarter of 2001.
Information about revenue was not immediately available.
Sales of life insurance, annuities and stable-value products were strong, Protective Life reports.
