NU Online News Service, April 15, 1:29 p.m. – Mutual of Omaha, Omaha, Neb., will be working with the Animal Planet cable network to bring back Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.
The new version of the wildlife series will premiere on Animal Planet in September, the network says.
Jim Fowler and Peter, the hosts of the original series, which ran from 1963 to the mid-1980s, will be advisors for the new shows.
Mutual of Omaha is sponsoring the new series as part of a brand revitalization campaign that also includes a new national advertising campaign.
