NU Online News Service, March 15, 12:18 p.m. – The Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, says Jim McCaughan will succeed Dennis Francis as president of the company's Principal Capital Management unit later this year, when Francis retires.
Francis has worked for Principal for 36 years.
McCaughan, who most recently was president of the Americas division at Credit Suisse Asset Management, New York, will serve temporarily as executive vice president and global head of asset management until Francis retires.
