NU Online News Service, Feb. 4, 4:37 p.m. – MIB Inc., Westwood, Mass., says its Center for Medical Actuary Services has published A Descriptive Index of Mortality Studies from Selected Sources 1951-1995, a summary of mortality findings for about 1,300 death rate studies conducted in the United States and Canada.

Medical researchers can use the book, which costs $75, to study the effects of medical conditions, and actuaries can use it when setting rates for life insurance policies, annuities and structured settlements, MIB says.
